Though MY2011 is it for the RX8, Harinjo wrote that he wants a 4-door 86. My point is simply that a car with similar dynamics (to a hypothetical 4-door FT86) has been around for the last 8 years, and brand-new leftovers are still available.

Sure a convertible FT86 could have a turbo. I'm not optimistic such a combination would be under $30k.

I agree that roadster vs 2+2 coupe are significant differences, but multiple reviews have made comparisons between the FT86 and the MX5. For lightweight and responsive RWD dynamics at a reasonable price, they appear to be the only games in town.
