you seemed to answer your own question? i mean realistically that's exactly what they did. that's how a lot of companies sell products. do the r&d to make the first one to sell. the next year they make incremental changes and call it something new and raise the price even though it costs them nearly nothing in r&d to do. no way that there is a whole new system in the 2014. doesn't seem likely to me at least.
