All I hear from this response is "I got called on making an assumption and now I can't back it up," aka "you don't know me." I'd love to know what I am ignorant about, if I am in such need of enlightenment. You are the one that is still standing behind what I consider (obviously you don't) a weak excuse to stay away from this car. And that's fine, we all need to rationalize our decisions.
I am enjoying my "poor investment" every single day. Believe it or not, I don't really bear you any ill will. When you do decide to move on to your next car, I wish you the best of luck.
p.s.-I don't think you would really enjoy the twins anyways, coming from a 335i. Almost everyone coming from a higher HP platform has complained that there isn't enough power.
