Turbos add cost, weight, complexity, lower throttle response, and lower reliability. The weight distribution is already quite a bit forward - if they added a turbo, that would shift more of the weight up front and likely raise the center of gravity, all of which would negatively effect the handling dynamics of the car. It's just not a good solution in my opinion, although I think it's fine for those who simply want more power.

I do agree that it needs a tad more power but not necessarily "250hp." What this car really needs is more torque in the mid-range and a little more power up top. I believe the best route to take for this is a simple displacement increase or possibly a more advanced intake like Valvematic and things like lighter forged internals.
