As long as the frame is not bent, you still have a chance to save it. Just remember, the insurance companies WORK FOR YOU and not the other way around. If you do not want it totaled, be adamant about it with your insurance.
They will find a way. I had a TSX a couple years back with $11k worth of damage. Regardless, I made them fix it. One thing to consider though, is that the repair will always be on your history report. So, the big question:
Is it more worth it to fix it or just cut your losses and by a new, clean title 86?
