Hope this helps. Not sure how many dealers actually are doing this. This is a rubber like foam material that muffles the crickets. I've definitely heard them, but they are almost hidden by normal engine noise. It really helps till we get a pump that just doesn't chirp at all. Just for reference, I have the same Oct. 17th pump on the last TSB. I was one of the first that had it start chirping within 250 miles.
