They will not tolerate different color lights changing on any civilian vehicle while driving, unless you are in a parade. In fact, if they see any type of blue light on your car, especially a flashing one, they are likely to think you are impersonating them and you may find yourself kissing the sidewalk and your vehicle impounded. Red lights that flash on the front of a car or even ones that don't are illegal in all 50 states. The only type of vehicle which can have flashing red or blue lights are emergency vehicles.

I agree these lights are entertaining. But not safe or legal to operate while driving. The only colors allowed by law on the front of a car are white or amber.
