they sold less than 6000 in the US in 2011. thats ok, but not stellar. for comparison the CR-Z had a little over 11,000 annual US sales for 2011. sure the CR-Z is new and the miata is getting old, but still convertibles and 2 seat cars are not going to sell extremely well.

but being that toyota doesnt have any convertible of note, making the FR-S into a convertible just may work. i personally want to see the hybrid come to market, but thats just me. make a poor man's version of the tesla and there will be buzz. Prius S anyone?
