Well from my experience, they are the most reasonably priced shop for a "tuner" shop and they do their work well. Here is a easy break down of how I think shit works in this industry:

low end cars -> poor customers -> sloppy jobs -> bad customer service -> cheap price. (civics, 240's, miata's etc)

middle class cars -> poor ~ middle customers -> clean job -> bad customer service -> still competitive price (this is where PRE stands imo) (STI/WRX, Evo's, etc.)

high end cars -> rich customers -> clean job -> good customer service -> expensive price. (GT-R, R8, Lambo's, M3, etc)

Here is my honest opinion, I can't tell you to go get this kit right now (not because I don't want another of the same kit running around in Ptown!) since Bobby, the tuner, is quitting PRE at the end of the month. He is training Erich, which is a brilliant guy, to be their tuner. I would go discuss this situation with PRE and hash out the details of how its going to be tuned etc.

As for me personally, I will be going to Bobby for my next stage for tuning at Silverline once they get their Dyno set up for him.

The reason why I went with this kit was:
1. Hell of a good deal since I was the first customer to put the kit on.

2. I trusted bobby, and their team to do good work, and their exhaust manifold quality sold me on it. Merge collector craftsmanship was flawless.

3. Local shop, and a customization for the kit. Sky was the limit on how I wanted it to be set-up.

4. I love "custom" shit lol. And the external wastegate setup sounds badass.

Cons:
1. Need to buy the next stage for intercooler, which is a must if going beyond 5psi. Although the water/air setup is going to be pretty nice without blocking too much on the front end radiator area with a "big" FMIC like you see on other set-ups. Their IC setup will not be complete until May.

2. The undertray needs a small spacer with a hole fabricated for the wastegate dump tube. Not a huge deal to me however.

3. You will end up "holding back" the power on the street now, since the car will be louder, faster, etc. I'm not stomping on it like when I was N/A. But this will be the same with any car +300whp.

4. Bobby quitting PRE.

So my advice to you is to go talk to PRE personally, talk about budget, what you want out of the car, tuning etc, and get your questions answered.

I am completely satisfied with this kit so far, and to be honest, its hard to even push it to the limits on the street yet (wet/cold, shitty tires etc). Those people with "heat" issues are mainly on track/auto-x, or live in 90+ ambient temp climates. I drive my car probably harder than most, and I'm not even close to having heat issues.
