I'm kind of amused that people somehow thought that Toyota/Subaru could or would produce a low cost navigation option for less than 800 dollars.

Superior Toyota/Subaru navigation systems costs more than ford's to build, independent bespoke system cost more than the other options out there. Not sure why people think they would get all these things for the same price as a base radio system.



Back on topic, yeah, they can charge that much, but I'm more than reluctant to purchase said vehicle if the price is beyond what I perceive as a good buy.
