I just come here while I'm waiting for code to compile, or while I'm waiting for someone to do a code review. Working at a big company, at least from what I've heard from other developers, you can expect to write between 2 and 10 lines of code per day on average. That's like 5% of what I did at my last job. So time on the interwebs is well spent for "research". Although the point of that research is not well defined, yesterday it was researching the psychological effects of a failed F5 key. Turns out it's very similar to a mild caffeine overdose.
