Any sporty car will really be an improvement but the info out on this car makes it seem ideal. 500 to get the spec you want ordered and be one of the first to get it isnt a big deal since you can change your mind.
If you already drive a sports car then it makes sense to need a test drive first but not everyone is in the same situation.

My deposit has no clause for test drive.. I'm fully confident that I will enjoy driving this car. I trust Toyota and Subaru to be smart enough to accomplish their goal of making a fun purist driving car. I also trust the editors and journalists who have had such glowing remarks thus far.
