Up for sale are gold 18x8 OZ Superleggaras with 225/40-18 Continental Extreme Contact DW. Short of doing serious track time this is one of the best road wheel/tire packages possible. I purchased the wheels used last spring. They are in pretty good shape, one wheel has a very small ding and I believe two of the other have a very small amount of rash. The way I'd characterize them is they look awesome from 6' away, good from 3' away and average up close. You have to really look at them to see any flaws. I had them on my brand new Scion FRS and people always give very positive comments on them. The wheels new were around $1350+tax
The tires I purchased last Summer they probably have about 4000 miles on them with completely even wear. Compared all the other high performance summer tires I sampled in the past these rode extremly well, are quiet and have the best grip/mileage. The only tire that is better would be the much more expensive Michelin Pilot Sport. I paid around $850 for these tires.
The total weight of this wheel and tire package was just about 40.25 pounds, this is about as good as you can do on a 18x8 with a 225/40 tire. This was a little over 2 pounds lighter than the stock 17x7 wheels and tires on my FRS. I felt like I could feel the difference. I am only selling these as I want to get a dedicated set of track wheels and tires.
These should fit well on any wrx (non-sti), BRZ, FRS and a few others with a 5x100 bolt pattern. I am not interested in trades unless they are for 5x100 17x9/17x8 RPF1 or PF01's or Ultraleggaras. Price is pretty firm, this package new will run you $2300+. Also comes with locking lug nuts. If the add is up they are still for sale. I can deliver if need be. Don't waste your time buying knock off wheels, buy the real thing.
