Not many C6 Z06s were less than 3200 lb., and many were over 3300 lb., like in this test:

The 3440 lb. curb weights we've seen for the C7 have been with the Z51 option, which reportedly adds 50-100 lb. C7 Z51 is the same weight as the most similar version of the outgoing C6, the Grand Sport. Still, it was *supposed* to be lighter-weight
