This sounds like more than just wheelspeed inputs. Which leads me to another question, since it's part of the ABS system, does it only work when ABS is active?
For those interested, I looked more into the safety systems and found that EBD does not add pressure, it only removes it. It's just a more sensitive parameter of the ABS system based on wheel speed sensors. Full summary here.
