Funny that you brought this up. I remember during the *Leeky incident* I said that Toyota/FHI may try to play with limited production to see the interests of this car and then pick up the production once the orders are in. Although that was bluffed by the subsequent clarification, and now here comes the FHI saying the dealers will only get certain allotment.

Having said that, I wonder if you can still custom-made your car with options and things and wait for it to come, or that you have to take whatever that is available and deal with it.
