i get what tires do. they are part of the car. its a stock comparison just like most comparisons. youre more than welcome to change the tires and test them both in your comparison. thats not a comparison of the cars stock though.
ive had this conversation before and i know it goes in circles but ill bow out with this thought: tires cost money and vary not only from model to model but size to size so its still not an "even" comparison. what doesnt change is how much a dollar is when being spent on a car. dollars is what i use to compare things because its what society uses. at the prices they cost, i think its a valid comparison. if you think that you should spend 600 more on the frs to make it fair i think youve done exactly the opposite. either way its not about fair, its about comparing and thats how they compare them.
