very interesting indeed. i don't think there is a way for this to work for our car, but if you can do it then more power to you! let me know how that goes.

however, from what i understand, i think almost any dac would work. i would even may test a cheapo one from ebay since they all seem to be based on the same chipsets anyway. but i already have this so oh well!
