Just checked the prices for new rings... About 350 each! Ouch that's $200 more per rotor than the Essex sprint kit!
Since there is no increase in thermal mass, consumables would have to be uber cheap and there better be tons of pad choices for this to be considered by any track user IMO. That doesn't appear to be the case here.

I haven't tracked any of my cars so I can't really comment on the thermal capacity or longevity, etc. I did take a closer look though...
The rings are 350 for a pair...not each. They still are more expensive than the Essex kit, but only slightly ($20 more as Essex is 165 each). These are oem sized rotors...although I think they do offer a "oversized" kit, but it's not thicker, still 24mm.
I doubt these are in the same league as the Essex kit, which I think was specifically designed for the car. I would put this on par with the Wilwood kit that someone has here that was designed to be used on the WRX.
For the price (their amazon store has it for around $1,200)...I still think it's pretty cool though.
