Nice work!

Nice work man. You already have most of the auto-x philosophy down. Super light, and just enough power to push it around the turn nicely. One thing you might need to consider is the DB restrictions for most clubs. A silencer will solve that at minimal weight if it is an issue. All of the clubs that I have ever encountered have a novice division that you will be place in btw. You will definitely be competitive ... and that will be addictive.

There are a few things that you will probably want to consider if you are serious about making that thing fly around turns that go a little against your philosophy.

Stitch or Seam welding the chassis.

Chassis bracing bars, especially with the rear seat removed the chassis is going to flex more.

I would also definitely take out that sound deadening. Here is a video on how to do that correctly.
