Ok, Ok.
I'm old and slow on the take.
This year I will be putting my BRZ on the strip. Haven't run 1/4 miles in 40 years (though I have been racing motorcycles on and off road for the last 35). As a teenager I would tow my '64 Chevelle F/Gas Modified small block behind my '68 Mustang GT Fastback with the 302ci to Englishtown, NJ. I was in heaven and enrolled at Lincoln Technical Institute for my ASE at the time. Time of my life! The 64 would run low 12's high 11's consistently. it was a beast with a Muncie Super T10 (do you know what those are?)while the Mustang would turn low 14's stock with a C4 and the stock ignition and fueling.
Then the draft, service to my country, a career, a family, motorcycles, public service, now very close to retirement I enter racing cars once again.
Hopefully with drag experience I will be able to launch my FI BRZ effectively with decent time as not to embarrass myself. We'll see
I have funds, experience, confidence, and the best tuner on my side. How can I possibly go wrong?
