I think this is probably psychological. As long as you didn't put it too low it shouldn't be a problem. Mine is about level with the brake and when I first drove it I was a bit paranoid. Keep an eye on your tach when you push in the clutch to make sure it's fully disengaged. Try switching between neutral and 1st at a stop light and see if the RPM change.

To tell if it's fully engaged when driving smell for burning clutch. You'll probably feel a slip at high RPM also. Or I suppose if you're really desperate you could do a 0-60 run, adjust the clutch, then do it again and compare the feeling
