We chatted at the end of the day about that session and we both had good spirits about everything. The Cayman S was not his car so once he started feeling it getting twitchy he wasn't going to continue trying to out pace me once I caught up. I thanked him for the fun challenge and the point by.

The dark blue Cayman S (with 3.8 swap) driver also found my video on YouTube and commented,

I think the car definitely earns some respect each time it's out on track with the thoroughbreds, but like you said there's no denying that with a highly skilled driver in a Cayman S or 911 choosing to drive 9 or 10/10ths that it would be no contest in favor of the Porsche. I just get lucky sometimes and it makes for entertaining GoPro footage. All in good fun. Far from racing.
