If you can wait until spring it should help I think. I really wanted a hatchback WRX and could not wait until Spring since the dealers stopped taking orders in September and they are trickling in right now and many are accounted for since Subaru is not making WRX hatches with the 2015 model. 2014 WRX production should cease sometime between February and March I am told.
I was able to get the dealer to come down a little on the WRX hatchback which was pretty good because they are very hard to come by and are selling within a day or two once they hit the lots.

It's too late now but SOA has a guaranteed trade in price, which I believe would be higher than 23k for your model. All you do is log into Subaru Net and print off the guaranteed trade in coupon and give it to the dealer.
