FYI, clean oil is relatively non-toxic, though it does a good job of lubricating your digestive tract, which has unpleasant consequences.
I would have brought it back to them, and let them deal with it. It looks to me like either their oil gun popped out of the fill cap (if they used bulk oil), or whoever was filling it has terrible aim.

Dealers always use the oil gun unless the oil isn't common. I remember I would have to go to parts to request 0W-20. But now 0W-20 comes from the oil gun. Though this stuff shoots out like water, we were trained to cover the top when refilling with a clean rag so it doesn't splash out.
A good tip to clean spilled oil is brake cleaner.
