ehhhh.... not really.
Both are rear wheel drive sport 2+2 sport coupes, and it seams both are at the same price point. I would say out of every new car on the market, the closest competitors to the FR-S/BRZ is the Genesis coupe.
And unless Hyundai drastically increases the price, the 2.0T R-Spec, at least on the surface, appears to be the better performance car for the money (especially if you want to modify it).
We will see when people start to do some full on testing of both models.
