And you will pay the DMV and sales tax in a lump sum when you register it here because the Colorado dealer can’t register it for you. Then add the 10% for registering an out-of-state car here, that is another $2,650. So you will pay $31,720 to buy the car in Colorado and register it here.

If you buy the BRZ we looked at, a 2014 Limited Blue model stock #E9602762 for $27,900 + tax ($2295) + DMV ($419) + DOC Fee ($80) then you’re only paying $30,693 and saving the hassle of getting it registered after you get it because we process all that paper work. You would save a little over $1,000.

So that’s what I was talking about. It doesn’t really matter until you’re ready to buy, I’m sure the 2013 will be gone in Colorado and we’ll have a different selection here too. One thing I hope you can see it that we are totally transparent in how we work with you. Also, I will give you the best deal possible when you’re ready. Looking forward to working with you. Have a great holiday and New Year!
HAHAHAHAHAH.

Let's see:

$26100 car
$2429 registration + tax (use tax is actually $2147 in Clovis, Fresno County 93611)
$50 smog
however much it costs to ship the car

There is NO WAY a Heuberger car can be $31720. I have no idea how stupid his math is, but

The bullshit parts are:
1) 10% "out of state" registration"
2) his tax calculation... does he even know what the fuck $26100 * 8.225% comes out to?
3) his DMV registration estimation... $390? Really?

Sorry, if you are paying $26100 for the car itself, your total price less shipping would be around $28579 + shipping. Even if you spent $2k on shipping you'd still be cheaper buying from CO.

If you want, print this shit out and throw it in the guy's face. 10% "out of state"? yeah, what an honest salesman.

P.S. I even calculated it for you and attached it as pics.
