Can't really address the other two but this one pisses me off to no end. Mine has the same issue, I didn't even think about it until after I bought it. It's extra irritating because there's a painfully obvious way to mount the plate with the stock bracket that keeps it away from the painted part of the bumper completely (Just flip the bracket upside down, fits perfectly in the black mesh part of the grill). GAH.
