You can ask about the engine, but as you should know, the engine is a Subaru engine so they might not be familiar with it. What dealer do you plan on taking it to? Toyota of DTLA?

Heck, I used to be a service tech for Toyota and I've never came across a boxer engine at the dealership LOL

Great advice here. Yeah, it looks like I'm going to get my hands dirty this weekend hand washing her head to toe. It's sad to think about poor quality workmanship coming out of a car dealership. On the bright side, my sales guy promised to order me really high quality wash cloths. We'll see how it goes...
