Someone almost hit me on Christmas as well. Idiot in San Antonio made a sudden right turn from the left lane while I was on the side of him.
As for the mirrors, I like the blue tint. I would consider these but I've already adjusted my mirrors to eliminate my blind spot. Still seems like a nice upgrade though.
