The last option on the poll is really stupid, especially for anyone that is an independent contractor or outside sales for a company.

I know plenty of people that work a salaried position, that has their vehicle mileage (and even gas expenses) deducted for tax purposes at the end of the year.

Even if you are not given the option by your employer, if you need to drive ANYWHERE during working ours for a legit reason (other than going to lunch), you are entitled to have this mileage deducted from your income. Most don't do it because it's such a tiny expense that won't make any meaningful impact on your finances.
