It'll let you play with the wheel and tire sizes so that you can get a rough idea of how different sizes affect fitment and clearances. Once you've got a tire size you're happy with, I recommend plugging the size in tirerack.com to do a quick search of what brands offer tires in the size you want.

Finally, I hear a lot of good things bout McGard lug nuts.
