They do specialize in domestics. I'd say 75% of their customers are mustang, camaro, and trans am owners. They advertise as so because that is where most of their money lies and what most of the Memphis area is into. They are only 1 of 2 shops in memphis with a dyno that does in house public builds and tuning. The mechanics there are and have been some of the top tuner/builders in the mid south for a number of years. They have 1 tuner that specializes in imports.
But I think u are overlooking the important things here. A good mechanic is a good mechanic. A good tuner is a good tuner. All platforms are different but building engines and tuning cars are all the same. If you have never changed the rims on a Ferrari, you think you could figure it out? If you have never driven that same Ferrari, you think you could crank it and drive away? Idk what you're answer to that is but if you have changed a tire before then yes. If you have driven a manual car before then yes. The big picture is you choose a shop by their reputation for being able to build and tune cars however you want. Whether it's the first specific car or a car they have done thousands of, a good mechanic can work on and build anything and a good tuner can tune it.
Call them and anyone else you want to and talk to someone about their shop. Research online for their reputation. If you don't trust their work then don't go there. It is all about how comfortable you feel but don't chose a shop just because they have worked on 1 frs before.
