My TPS light came on the day after I picked up the car just about two weeks ago (I live in Seattle). I had to go to the dealer to drop off my old car keys and by the time I got there my TPS light was off. I think it was just the unusually cold weather here in the Puget Sound. Ever since it's warmed up a bit I haven't had the light come on at all.
