So after a lot of research on these forums I've come the realization that I want to to purchase the Enkei PF01 (17x8) with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires (235/45ZR17).

I will be ordering these from Tirerack.com. The problem arises when I try to add the tires after choosing the wheel. Their site won't let me pick the super sports in conjunction with the PF01's, I can only choose from a small variety of tires similar to the Dunlop Direzza Z2's. I have to manually add the wheel then go back and pick the tire as a separate order.

The fact that tirerack says these won't fit well confuses me because I've seen many others with very similar or exact setups. Is there some aspect of this wheel/tire combo that I'm missing?

Also, how would 225/45-17's do on 8" wheels? I'm trying to avoid messing with the speedometer as much as possible.
