Does anyone else feel like this is a Legacy? Granted, I have always liked the Legacy but the whole point to the WRX/STi was the rawness/ speed/ etc. Yea, it is quick and handles well but I can't help be bored by it. It just seems everything special has been taken from it. It nearly seems like I am watching a review of an Altima or (insert whatever sedan here).
Perfect example, I had a 2005 WRX and a 2011 WRX. The 2011 WRX was faster, handled better (stock v stock), etc. But I sold it because it was trending towards being boring. It just didn't have the essence of the older model cars. I appreciate Subaru's attempt to make things nicer, especially in the interior but I don't know, it just isn't working for me. And I don't even dislike the looks THAT much, I think it looks decent. It is that X factor that was so special about owning a WRX/ STi that seems to me to be gone. And unfortunately to me, that is the most important part.
Who knows though, maybe I'm just crazy
