Based on my experience with other brands, they can only decline warranty claims on the affected part. So, for example, if one of your exhaust brackets breaks, that should not be covered. Other than that I don't think they have the rights to void a service plan as that has nothing to do with it. However, you never know what's in the fine print.

IIRC, even RGMs S/C conversion keeps your warranty and service plan intact. Perhaps ask the dealer how that works - assuming they are even aware of it.

Alternately, just go to another dealer, as suggested.

I would be curious to know why the dealer said that in the first place though, as there's going to be lots of grey areas on these cars in the coming months as they start aging and there more and more modded cars - however IMHO a bolt on exhaust should not affect a service plan. Would be interesting to see how Toyota SA is going to react. With BMW for example, BMW SA gave e90/e92 M3 customers a really though time when a "slightly" modded car arrived at a dealership - to the extent where innocent clients purchased vehicles from a dealer and were accused of software mods (on stock cars) when bringing the same cars back for services, etc. Let's see how Toyota dealers/SA is going to handle the 86s...
