Just looking back through this old magazine it has some interesting info on Shinari, for example implementing kendo into the design, but I'm skeptical on skyactive. I don't think that will be a deciding factor to push for Sky-R or better yet to a new RX-7.

Well their 10 year plan is already in motion, and with first gen Sky-G already on the market making 29mpg city and 40mpg hwy on a 155hp/141tq 2.0l 4cylinder. By far not impressive performance numbers but those economy figures are very desirable especially with the 152 & partial Zero c02 bracket against taxes. which will drive buyers to its door.
Sky-D is on its way to US and Europe for next year, and i only see good things in their future.
