Right. Well I will be paying the dealer the full "Pure Price", but Toyota will reimburse me back to true dealer cost (invoice minus holdback). Tough to argue with that.
Unfortunately, my employment with Toyota precluded me from being included in the First 86 program. Oh well, I'll live to wait an additional 2 weeks for my car.
The up side to Pure Pricing is that no one gets screwed and there are never any huge rebates and such that will kill the residual value. That, and their mark-up over invoice is not much. $1000 on a $20k+ car is not a whole lot.
