Ahhhh......see. Well, I'm sure they're "on it".

Meanwhile, here is something you may consider doing. Line the spare tire well with Dynamat (or Peal & Stick from a home improvement store).

That "well" can act as a "drum" and amplify the sounds coming from the exhaust tips. I'm not saying the exhaust "drones" but lining the trunk "well" seems to make the interior quieter.

Another hint: Have a plug ready to stuff into the mouth of the sound generator (at least temporarily) because it seems the sounds from the sound generator try to compete with the sounds coming from the exhaust ..... and it seems that 1 + 1 = 3.
