There's been lots of discussion about this, particularly around the time the First86 and early adopters were getting their cars.
Bottom line is that the only thing Pure Price means is that the dealer has to sell the car at THEIR advertised and posted price, no more, not less.
It has no relationship to MSRP, and no relationship between dealers. Most dealers do sell at MSRP (with add-ons) but nothing stops them from selling above or below MSRP, they just aren't supposed to negotiate away from their posted price for an individual car.
