I am at peace when good men have guns cause they can equalize the threat of bad men with guns (who carry illegally no matter what the law says {they are ciminals and don't obey law}). The permit carriers are vociferously screened and trained by the gov't. Any street goblin can get ANYTHING on the black market with NO controls. Because of that I and all have a right to self defence no matter what the flavor of the month political agenda is..
All the states with concealed carry have significantly LOWER violence by gun crime rates - thats why so many states have jumped on the bandwagon over the last 10 years (factual non hidden agenda stats don't lie ) - Watch when California and New York wise up when they can't afford to pay the criminal justice bills. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY ! Not rights , ideology etc.
The state governments didn't enact the carry laws for citizen protection - they did it cause of the cost of prosecuting crime ( COPS , COURTS , PRISONS etc.- the costliest industry in Amerika ).
It was gov't-corporate greed that gave states citizens the freedom to stop goblins before they killed the innocent.
Look at Israel - Everyone carries ( for anti-terrorism reasons ) But it is a VERY polite society with virtually no goblin gun crime . Although the had an upsurge in Amerikan style youth crimes bout 10 years ago (since then fixed).
Similar in Switzerland with a very prolific gun culture (every Swiss male has a full auto assault rifle issued to him and by law has to keep and maintain it ( mind you every swiss male is a militia member ) !!!Gotta protect the worlds money!!!!!!!!!!
But then - uninvent the firearm (hydrogen bombs drones etc.) and the problem goes away.

I love em ! Xept when they come too close - fry da fukkers but Only if a threat (peace thru superior firepower !) .
Otherwise - LEAVE EM BE ! ( They perform a function beneficial to us so called humans )
