Here's what I do:
1) Buy cheap car with paint you don't care about.
2) Drive that in the winter so your baby doesn't suffer.
If you're afraid of using a winter brush on your paint, you probably shouldn't be driving in winter anyways with the salt, gravel, and sand they put down. Those will be far worse to your paint than the brush will ever be.
