I really don't recommend the Dunlops. I was much happier with the Cheap General Altimax Artics on my Evo 8 and even happier than that with the Blizzaks on my STi. Figured I'd try the Dunlops because I was so happy with the Star Specs but if I were to do it again I'd go else where.....
You're going to want to throw some weight in the trunk as well! I haven't yet and the ass end wants to kick out on you.
On a positive note, the BRZ started just fine at -21F yesterday morning...
And you NEED weather techs if you're going to be driving it year round.

I used Dunlop M3 for seven winters on RX8, and now second winter with Dunlop 3D (they do not make M3 anymore) on BRZ. I never had any problems with driving in the snow. Just today I was able to pass almost everyone on the road at heavy snowfall around Philadelphia. I could even start moving car being on uphill in 4 inches of snow. These tires are among the best for winter season. On mix of ice slush with salt and water on the road I could do 60 MPH and car was completely stable and controllable.
