Little update: put the OEM suspension and side markers back on. Then I took the OEM side markers back off. Now they're painted with a color that nearly matches DGM (I found a couple extra spray cans left over from my old STI fender badge painting frenzy).
I didn't get it all right, though. Some of the paint didn't stick, but this area won't be seen:
