Ahhh......yes, with age comes wisdom (or maybe just being lazy.....

).
So, if you DIY, I suggest a bit of WD-40 on the two nuts. Work a bit of liquid slippery stuff (I prefer soapy water) around the rubber hangars on the muffler. After taking out the two bolts, the muffler will rock on the rubber bushings to loosen them up. Oh, yes be a bit careful with the gasket, they don't give you a new one.
Well, that was enough, I let the boys with a rack .... take er on in.....
