I always include USED cars into the mix and for comparison.
For example,
My dad was looking for a new "fun" car and considered lots of cars, E92 m3's etc..
I looked at cars in a similar price range and he scored his 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage for half...say again...half what the sticker cost was. It had all the options exactly how he wanted. It was also less expensive than a new E92 M3 btw.
*The car had 3,000 miles on it and was essentially brand new. It was owned by a doctor who traded it in to buy a bigger house.
I will never understand why some people only consider new cars. Except for special editions and ultra rare cars etc...
It looks almost identical to this:
I would rather have a more desirable "used" car than a new car I don't want at all.
Why would anyone want a four-door version of a car that was intended to be a cheap, fun 2-door sporty coupe? The fact that the car is lightweight and has incredible driving feel is what makes it desirable.
If Scion can replicate that in a 4-door, then I applaud them lol
