Hello, Sorry it has been a while since i posted last.
There has been no change to the rough idle with my car. I returned it completely to stock for a week and there was no change in idle.
I want to address this post;
"1. It's impossible to disable the TPMS system. They didn't disable the system they deleted the code."
If that is true, then why is my TPMS light ot working?
I understand deleting the code, But why has it not returned?
"2. You had a rough idle before you went in. Your car was most likely damaged underneath before you brought it in, if it had the same rough idle before and after."
I took the car to the dealership to have the problem fixed! what part of that did you misread? Obviosly the rough idle is an issue.
3. If you're going to put aftermarket parts on your car, don't expect the dealership to spend time trying to fix it for free."
Even with stock parts on the car, the issues still exist.
The techs do not spend time fixing my car for free, Toyota's warranty program ays the dealership and the hourly fee for work.
And just because you are a tech does not neccesarily make you a good tech, the only issue I blame on my tech is smashing my wideband 02.
After the original post, we founn damage where my front bumper had been scrapd pretty bad. My car is at stock height and not once have I knowingly bottomed the front bumper out.
I still beleive the dealership broke my wideband and caused an exhaust leak i had to fix.
Now i am hoping a tune will fix the rough idle.
