Yes, you could do the viper smart start on a M/T FRS .
Just make sure you hook up Neutral Safety green/black wire for (M/T) Its located at the ECM behind glove box. Its a white 31 pin plug, pin 16.
Its one of two wires you will need to tap into on the inside passenger side of the car. The second right side wire is for the passanger side door trigger.
You will also need an automotive relay to bypass the clutch switch. You use the relay so the car thinks your pressing down on the clutch during the remote start process.
