Here is our 2.5 yr old German Shepard, Amelia.
This is our 1 yr old German Shepard mix, Booger. We rescued her from a friend's in-laws. They picked her up from the shelter and was going to return her shortly after because they had laminent floors put in their basement and didn't want the dogs to scratch them. This was the 2x dog in ~10 yrs. They'd grab them when they were puppies and get rid of them a few months later. It was bad enough that they had to switch vets because they (vets) said something to them about it.
